SWIMMING POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

Our Policies and Procedures are in place to ensure our facility stays safe and clean. Please review it prior to your visit.

Rules & Guidelines

  • Swimming is only allowed when a lifeguard is on duty. 
  • Horseplay, running, shoving, or dunking is not allowed. 
  • Swimming is only allowed in designated areas. 
  • Diving is only allowed in the deep end of the pool. 
  • Glass containers are not allowed in the pool area 
  • Food and drinks are only permitted in the birthday party rooms or on the high deck.
  • Alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs are not allowed anywhere on facility property.
  • Profanity, improper behavior, carousing or other indecent acts are not permitted. 
  • Non-swimmers are not allowed in the deep end of the pool. 
  • Children ages 12 and under must be always accompanied by a guardian age 18 or older. 
  • No blow-up pool floats will be allowed in the pool unless utilized for a program. 
  • No flotation devices will be permitted in the deep end of the pool. 
  • Dumbbells and belts are for Adults only. 
  • Weak swimmers (suspected or known), small children, or others’ ability of which the guard is unsure, must take a short swim test before entering the deep water. 
  • No hanging on the ladder (entrance and exit only). 
  • No sitting or hanging on the lanes, ropes, or lifelines. 
  • Emergency equipment is for lifeguards’ use only. 
  • Water basketball is not permitted during classes. 
  • Diving boards are closed during classes. 
  • Flotation devices must be USCG-approved and age-appropriate. 
  • All patrons must have proper swim attire. 
    • “No street clothes” 
    •  No undergarments 
    • No thong style and/ or revealing swimwear 
    • No jeans or cargo material clothing  
    • Baggy t-shirts in the diving well  
  • Patrons must shower before entering the pool. 
  • Spitting, spouting water with the mouth, or blowing the nose in the pool is not allowed. 
  • Pets are not allowed in the pool. 
  • Pump and filter rooms are off-limits to all patrons. 
  • First aid and safety equipment may only be used or obtained by staff members. 
  • No one may enter the pool with any open sores or wounds unless they are bound and wrapped. 
  • Eyeglasses are permitted to be worn in the pool as needed or required. 
  • The aquatic staff have the final authority regarding safety policies and rules. 
  • Observe lane signage. When lap swim space is limited, circle swimming is recommended 
  • Notify swimmers when entering the lap lane  
  • When circle swimming, swim on the right side of the lane in a counterclockwise direction, staying near the lane rope 
  • Only lap swimmers are allowed in the lap lanes 
  • Diving blocks are only allowed to be used if a swim coach is present 
  • Only one person on the diving board at a time. 
  • Only one bounce on the diving board. 
  • After water entry please swim to the nearest ladder to exit the water 
  • Divers must wait until the diving well is clear before entering.  
  • You must dive or jump in a straight line off the board. 
  • No difficult or dangerous dives  
  • No sitting on the diving board. 
  • No goggles or flotation devices shall be worn when jumping off the diving boards. 
  • No vulgar or indecent acts shall be done when jumping off the diving boards. 
  • Horseplay, running, or shoving, is not allowed  
  • No sitting or standing on water features  
  • All children who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers 
  • Children ages 12 and under must be always accompanied by a guardian age 18 or older.  
  • All riders must be at least 48″ tall 
  • All riders must ride feet first while lying on their back with arms crossed across the chest.   
  • Do not pull or propel yourself into the ride. 
  • Pregnant women or individuals with heart or back conditions should NOT use the slide. 
  • No standing, kneeling, rotating, tumbling, or stopping in the flume. 
  • No life jackets, goggles, jewelry, or any foreign objects are allowed on the slides.
  • Only one rider at a time. Absolutely no chains of riders are permitted. 

 

 
  • A swimming test is required for use of the structure. Participants must be able to swim 20 yards unassisted without stopping or touching the bottom. Lifeguards will administer swim tests and provide a wristband to successful swimmers 
  • Always follow lifeguard instructions 
  • No swimming underneath the structure  
  • No pushing others off the structure  
  • Feet first entry into the water from the slide exit is required  
  • A maximum of 2 users are allowed to progress through the WIBIT course at any given time 
  • Please refrain from wearing any sharp objects such as jewelry, locker keys, or goggles to avoid damage to the structure

The outdoor splash pad is open from Memorial Day – Labor Day

  • Competition pool: 78-84 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Lifestyle Pool: 85-89 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Management is not responsible for lost or damaged items from lockers  
  • Lockers are for daily use only. Any items left overnight will be discarded  
  • All items must be stored in a locker. Items are not permitted to be left on the locker room benches or floors unattended. 

Amenities & Programming

All personal flotation devices must be U.S. Coast Guard-approved. Anyone in a  lifejacket must remain in the shallow end of the pool under direct adult supervision (within arm’s reach). Any questions concerning pool toys should be directed to the pool manager on duty. 

Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied at all times by a guardian age 18 or older. 

Yes, we will have two family changing rooms.

Aquatic Exercise

Yes, we will also provide all the equipment for aqua fitness classes.

  •  One mile (25 yard) = 33 laps (down and back)
  • One mile (25 yard) = 66 laps (one end of the pool to another)
